The Springs of Fairfield Bay we are looking for a reliable Transportation Driver / CNA to transport invalids in a professional and considerate manner.

Purpose of Your Job Position :
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned transport residents with transportation to and from appointments and other destinations while providing necessary nursing care and services in accordance with the patient’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain a log and daily schedule of all transports that is always current and accessible to anyone in the facility who is responsible for scheduling transports.
Verify transports (appt. times, locations, etc.) at least 1 hour prior and document such verification.
Monitor the maintenance schedule of the transport vehicle, scheduling and documenting required maintenance and repairs.

Pick up new residents as directed.
Transport discharged residents as directed.
Transport transferring residents as directed.
Follow proper lifting and positioning guidelines while assisting residents into and out of transport vehicles as outlined in Lifting / Transfer policy presented in orientation.
Be attentive to personal care needs of residents during transport (i.e., comfort, air temperature, sensitivity to light, sound, etc.).
Secure residents in seat belts, secure wheelchairs, verify lift properly stored, doors fully shut prior to driving.
Experience
Must be an Arkansas licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
Specific Requirements
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Must hold a valid, unencumbered driver’s license.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal patiently, tactfully, with a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the general public on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
