The Staff Pad is partnering with a health care solutions company that is seeking a Junior Account Manager for the New York City region.
Junior Account Managers serve as the region leader of approximately 3-5 hospital contracts/locations. They utilize an array of knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking abilities to facilitate every aspect of the business. They assistant the Executive Operations team members with region growth, talent development, recruiting, engagement, and overall performance of the company within an assigned region.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Operating Room and/or Sterile Processing experience or equivalent.
- Frontline supervisory experience preferred.
- B.A. or B.S. in business preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) certification required. CER certification a plus.
- Experience with c-suite hospital staff preferred.
- Prior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills – Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time to assigned hospital accounts as needed
- Covid-19 vaccination is required
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains strong business relationships with Hospital Administration, Operating Room Personnel including Chief of Surgery, Surgeons, OR Director, Director of CSPD, Materials Management, etc.
- Serve as a liaison with the Sales and Marketing Team
- Makes personal visits to each hospital in region on a regular basis to meet with hospital contacts and Surgical Solutions employees.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants and making recommendations for hiring, promotions, and terminations.
- Supervises and manages Account Supervisor/Lead Technician
- Assess, and investigate personnel problems; assists in administering performance counseling and coaching when deemed appropriate.
- Conducts regular team meetings with field leadership to ensure consistency regarding organizational goals and objectives.
- Submits monthly reports to the Executive Team on region performance / activity – staffing/OT/ On-call and overall operation of accounts.
- Responsible for ensuring all field leaders in their assigned hospital/territory are properly trained, following policies, procedures, and recommended practices. Holds all Account Supervisors/Lead Technicians accountable for following company policies and procedures and ensuring their teams are properly trained.
- Works in partnership with the HR team on Company’s people operations – manage field teams’ employee relations. Ensures proper staffing while balancing compensation expenses.
- Ensures the team always provides stellar customer service.

- Tactile, auditory, and visual acuity sufficient for physical assessment, and to interact in clinical, lab, and classroom environments.
- Up to 90% travel within assigned region.
- Work Environment: hospitals are a 24-hour, 7 days a week operation that have a fast-paced atmosphere
and involves exposure to blood-borne pathogens, various chemical disinfectants, and infectious materials
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (i.e., eye protection, gloves, shoe covers,surgical head
covering, and gown) is required
