SPECIAL NOTES:
Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
The work hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This OPS position will be filled at $15.00 per hour.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
Responses to qualifying questions must be clearly supported by the state application and any omission, falsification or misrepresentation in the answering of the qualifying questions will be cause for immediate elimination from the selection process.
Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to do physical labor that requires standing, bending and lifting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Be able to communicate effectively.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Sweep, mop. Vacuum floors, clean classrooms, and offices.
- Clean restrooms throughout the facility.
- Clean dormitory rooms, restrooms, common areas.
- Empty trash throughout the facility.
- Ensure the general cleanliness of the entire facility.
