The Work You Will Do:
This is an OPS Employment Security Representative II- Employment Review Specialist position in the Department of Commerce’s Reemployment Assistance Programs Adjudication Unit. Job duties revolve around providing quality customer service using a variety of methods, reviewing claimant and employer information, and applying laws and policies to determine the eligibility of reemployment assistance claims using the CONNECT system. This includes gathering claimant and employer information, reviewing documentation, assessing claims, knowledge and application of Florida Reemployment Assistance Program Rules and State/Federal Laws, and completing work efficiently while adhering to compliance standards.
