  • Annual Starting Salary: $36,171.20

Position Summary & Responsibilities:
This Human Service Consultant position conducts case reviews for the work of the Human Service specialist to ensure compliance with policy and procedures related to service delivery. If performance issues are identified case reads can be extended as determined by the EES supervisor, Program Administrator or Assistant program Administrator. When eligibility determination errors are discovered, they are sent back to the workers, with policy references, and explanations of how the policy was incorrectly applied. They reinforce the initial training received as well as help reinforce the training and BPM principles and tools. EES case readers also monitor the Management and Evaluation (M&E) Corrective Action Plans for the East Region and participate on the Error Review Boards.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Five years of experience interviewing, investigating, compiling information, documenting decisions, interpreting guidelines

and/or providing technical assistance relevant to the agency's programs.

Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.


Education or Training - special or professional

Preferred:

  • A bachelor's degree with social services emphasis
  • Experience and working knowledge of EES administered programs


Licenses, certificates and registrations

Must maintain a valid driver’s license if position requires travel. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
