What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Assistant position at The Stepping Stones Group?
Pay: $19- $21 an hour
Available Locations: Simi Valley Unified School District
Responsibilities:
· Assist students 1:1 or in a group within a classroom environment
· Work with student’s grade K – 12th
· Assist with various behavioral levels mild to severe
· Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
*Floater role or permanent caseload depending on district’s needs
Training:
· Autism training
· 4-hour online training in ABA basics

Qualifications:
· HS Diploma 60 college credits or higher
· 6 months - 1 year of ABA experience preferred
· Previous special education experience
Preemployment Testing:
· Criminal background check & LiveScan
· TB test
