Summary:
Provide prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all guest needs related to reservations and sales of shows, attractions, and other services offered.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while selling tickets to the Strat tower, rides, and shows as well as upselling packages
- Upsell all transactions including, but not limited to, additional rides, restaurants, packages, shows and special events
- Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and other types of payments on a regular basis
- Provide directional assistance to guests as requested
- Communicate and work closely with other departments to remain current on any updates or changes regarding Stratosphere amenities
- Initiate the greeting, welcome guests in a friendly manner, and thank them for their patronage
- Offer information regarding property promotions, products, services, and events taking place
- Smile, make eye contact, and use the guest’s name while interacting
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Prior experience working in a team or group environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
