What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Manager position at The Table?
The Event Manager will also have floor management duties and be required to work a changing schedule. This is a part-time position. The Event Manager assist with opening and closing procedures and standard operating procedures. The majority of your duties are fielding inquires for potential events. Having experience with Tripleseat is preferred but willing to train the right person.

Sunday 10:30am-7pm
Monday 2pm-close
Tuesday 2pm-close
The Event Coordinator in addition to base pay can receive commission from the parties they successfully book.

Event Planner/Booker Description
- Maintaining working relationship with clients and understanding complex needs of different events and diverse clients
- Planning event aspects, such as full-buyout, ½ buyout, upstairs or downstairs, food and beverage minimum
- Strong knowledge of what we may offer while taking clients on tour of restaurant
- Attentive to the value of staying within client’s budget while planning event specifications
- Issuing invoices and collecting payments in a timely manner, and creating comprehensive and readable financial reports
- Letting client know that the food and beverage minimum does not include tax and gratuity
- Preparing and getting approval on food menu 1 week prior to the event; creating a drink menu without pricing; adding event to calendar; placing all forms, contracts, and menu copies in Event Binder under correct month and date; putting all banquet details on BQ form; emailing managers regarding party size to ensure proper staffing
- Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing set up, communicating with staff, and managing break down
- Anticipating and planning for possible different scenarios
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas and plans to clients
Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
