ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all of the following tasks:
- Receive and Processes Red Cross messages
- Provides receptionist services, answers phone, and takes messages, fax and scan.
- Maintains Staff Duty Journal DA Form 1594
- Performs as the operator before, during, and after operation checks and services
- Greets and welcomes all military personnel arriving at the EPIA
- Coordinates transportation services for individuals and or groups, up to and including unit level
- Provides driver services (when required) for Mobilization and Deployment 15 passenger vans.
- Answers general questions about Fort Bliss and the El Paso surrounding area
- Coordinates family services information, to include billeting inquiries, directions and facilities
- Assists with baggage claim information and procedures at EPIA
- Keeps control of vehicle credit cards and Radios.
- Reports any work related injuries & submits proper reports.
- Keeps weekly and yearly statistics that will be used for AAR’s.
- Evaluate and consolidate information from various sources under short deadlines.
- Signs out for vehicles assigned to Staff Duty along with push to talk radios assigned to staff duty & EPIA.
- Ensure accountability of equipment and operation of the MaD Day Room.
- Will require having flexed hours to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and Holidays.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Other duties as required/approved by Tatitlek management.
Required Skills
Required Education, Experience, and Skills include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of administrative, customer service or office experience.
- Proven ability for maintaining accurate data entry performed in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Fort Bliss Network Access CAC Card.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements
Essential and marginal functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for: bending, stooping; sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time, moving or lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds; operating through extended periods of high stress. Must possess: visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone and radio; and the manual dexterity to operate a cell phone, handheld radio, telephone, facsimile and computers. Must be able to work in proximity of military field conditions of training units/individuals
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills include:
- Preferred Prior Military E-4 and above.
- General Military knowledge desired.
- Receptionist experience desired.
