SUMMARY
The Activation Systems Engineer shall demonstrate expertise with Weapon System and Combat Systems-level engineering, site infrastructure, distributed architecture, automated tools and tests, virtualization, computing hardware and cloud services necessary to integrate warfighter shipboard systems into various Land Based Test and Training Sites (LBTTS). Activation of these shipboard systems are essential to support Element Test, System Test, Certification and Training in land-based environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Possess the ability to install, configure, test and maintain shipboard tactical and tactical equivalent equipment in test and training labs
- Possess the ability to install, perform check out procedures, trouble-shoot and maintain equipment aligned with U.S Navy Baseline Computer Programs
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Must have a DOD Secret security clearance
- At least 4 years of U.S. Navy experience preferred
- The Activation Systems Engineer should have experience with Interface Connection Drawings (ICDs) and Cable Block Diagrams (CBDs)
- The Activation Systems Engineer should have knowledge of Computer Baseline Programs and associated lab equipment

Coordinates, supervises, and/or manages support personnel.
Additional Qualifying Factors:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTO are required. May require occasional travel.
