We are looking for Teachers who are not planning to return to school this year, and/or those looking to make extra money to complement our qualified workforce of educators. Substitute certified and retired teachers encouraged to apply. Tutoring is in very high demand this year due to school closures and quarantines. Even if you are only available for a few hours a week, every hour you teach helps a child succeed.

Responsibilities

• Meet one-on-one with students virtually or in-person
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Help students problem solve and find solutions
• Option to teach in-person private lessons in covid-safe environment
• Some families are searching for a teacher for a pod
• Offer homework help

Skills

• Proven experience as a teacher or tutor
• Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized and committed
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline
• Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education
• Looking for all levels of education: Pre-K through University
• Looking for all specialties, including arts, music, foreign language, English/reading, social studies, math, science, special needs, etc.
