The Tiger Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Columbia, Missouri. We are the only 4 diamond hotel in Columbia, and in 2014 Expedia rewarded us with the 11th spot in their prestigious Expedia Insiders’ Select Award, an annual award recognizing the very best hotels and resorts worldwide. We are also the official hotel for Mizzou Athletics!

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. Our Front Desk Agents also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.
Your day-to-day
- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable experience.
- Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with guest experience anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary.
- Acknowledge Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
- Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective gear.
- Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling needed opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay.
- Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Always know what events and activities are on the calendar.
- Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests in day’s schedule and out – take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes.
- Jump into other varied duties when your colleagues need your help.
- Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns
What we need from you
- Communication skills--guests will need to come to you with questions and concerns, so you’ll need to be easy to talk to.
- Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts.
- Your problem-solving skills.
- Literate and tech-savvy -This grasp of reading, writing, basic math and proficient with computers.
Shifts: Must be able to work all shifts: 7am-3pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
