What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Manager position at The University of Chicago?
Department
BSD BMB - Hayne Lab
About the Department
The Hayne Lab studies how RNA processing complexes function and interact to drive essential processes of human cell biology. We’re interested in understanding the basic functions of these complexes, their roles in broader cell biology, and how their dysregulation leads to disease. We harness our strengths in biological mechanisms at the atomic, molecular, and cellular levels to answer questions about protein structure, function, and regulation. We are highly collaborative and often employ interdisciplinary approaches to address otherwise intractable questions. This at-will position is wholly or partially funded by contractual grant funding which is renewed under provisions set by the grantor of the contract. Employment will be contingent upon the continued receipt of these grant funds and satisfactory job performance.
