About the Daniels College of Business

Dean Vivek Choudhury came to DU in August 2019 from the George Washington University School of Business, where he had been serving as associate dean for strategic initiatives and professor of information systems and technology management. His research interests include management of offshored/outsourced IT projects, trust in electronic commerce, and knowledge management.
About the Opportunity
The Part-Time Coordinator provides high-level support for the fundraising and engagement efforts of the Daniels College of Business Advancement Team. The Coordinator will join a group of established fundraising professionals and help to ensure timely planning and execution of a variety of departmental activities, independently and in collaboration with partners in Advancement and Daniels.
The Coordinator will serve as a member of a dynamic, collaborative, and high-functioning team. The Coordinator must be able to prioritize many competing deadlines and timelines. Attention to detail, commitment to quality deliverables, and the ability to take initiative are essential to success in this position. The Coordinator must also be an efficient, professional, and diplomatic liaison to a variety of audiences including University leadership, campus faculty and staff, donors, corporate partners, parents, and other stakeholders.
The role is structured as a fellowship that will run from the date of hire through June 30, 2023, and is designed to support the development of recent DU graduates or current graduate students in their professional aspirations. The successful candidate can expect to gain valuable professional experience in the field of higher education advancement and alumni relations.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., some nights and weekends as required. Part-time 10-20 hours per week, as needed.
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $22.50 - $23.25.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
