Job description:
We are looking for a retail Sales Associate to be responsible for front-counter sales. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about our services and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Greet and welcome customers to the store while answering questions
- Maintain stock
- Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Cross and up sell products and services
- Work as a team with co-workers to ensure superior customer service
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
Skills:
- Previous work experience as a retail Sales Associate valued but not required
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service
- Proficiency in English
- Basic Math Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and energetic personality
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Heavy lifting required
- Work flexible shifts as evenings and weekends are required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
