Responsibilities
In your job, you will have the ability to make a difference in a patients journey by:
- Accurately deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record; participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
- Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
- Accurately make custom molds and cut blocks.
- Complete simple mu calculations.
- Interpret a computerized treatment plan.
Qualifications
This position allows all levels of experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies for Radiography and Radiation Therapy.
- Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience with VisionRT preferred.
- Experience with SRS and/or SBRT preferred.
- Experience with CT Sim preferred.
The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Masks may be requested in all Arizona Oncology facilities regardless of vaccination status. COVID vaccination is recommended.
