Job Description
Plaintiffs' Personal Injury firm seeking an experienced, Mid-Level/Senior Associate Attorney to assist with handling cases in Northern & Southern California from initial filing through trial.
The ideal candidate must have excellent legal research, writing and oral communication skills. Candidate must also have extensive discovery experience, including taking and defending depositions. Must be a hard worker, open to learning, and have a strong desire to try personal injury cases.
Requirements:
- Trial Experience
- Spanish Speaking (Plus, but not required)
- Some Travel Involved
- CA License (License in multiple jurisdictions is a plus)
General Duties:
- Under the supervision of one or more Senior attorneys, candidate will be responsible for representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases.
Specific Duties:
- Perform client intake/consultations and case evaluation
- Evaluate client claims through gathering of relevant facts and documents
- Legal research, analysis and drafting motions
- Plan and conduct oral and written discovery
- Court Appearances
- Depositions
- Manage their own caseload
- Assist in Arbitrations, Mediations and Trials of personal injury cases.
