Join Our Team as an Event Coordinator
Company Overview: Join our team, a growing wedding venue with a successful track record spanning over 2 years. Specializing in picturesque and breathtaking venues, we've achieved stability and financial success and are looking to expand our staff, and further contribute to the industry in Blue Ridge, TX. We are seeking to fill this position with the intention of making it a full-time role in the future. Currently, it will be part-time and is expected to be covered by multiple individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents (i.e. event schedule, vendors’ contact details, venue layout, decor notes, etc.) before client’s arrival on the property.
- Make sure the property is set up and ready for the event (site visit, tour, or wedding)
- Learn the ins and outs of the business, the processes, and rates quickly in order to handle client inquiries and resolve any issues.
- Assist the clients with decor during setup, keeping to the ceremony/reception timelines and schedule, and be able to remind them of quiet time, clean up time, and any other important deadlines for their event.
- Act as a liaison officer between the Decision-Maker of the day assigned by the clients and the Crescent Moon team to ensure each client’s wedding runs according to schedule.
- Cultivate strong client, vendor, and supplier relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Learn the landscape of the property in order to give clients a good impression of the venue during site visits, and assist in giving tours to potential clients over the week and weekend.
Requirements:
- Preferably previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a small to medium-sized company is a plus.
- Client-centric approach with outstanding communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Pleasing and coachable personality
- Flexible and willing to work seasonally depending on the highs or lows of demand for our venue.
- Comfortable with working with people, a “people person”
- Driven individual who also collaborates excellently with the team on project progress, key performance indicators and continuous improvement efforts.
- Will need to be able to work some late night shifts as well as earlier morning shifts.
Salary: Starting rate: $14-18 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Part-time,Independent Contractor/On Call
Shift Availability: Two shifts, the morning and night shift. The length, and the start and end times will be determined by each particular event’s needs.
