What are the responsibilities and job description for the Taekwondo Instructor position at The Village?
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Taekwondo instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Taekwondo classes to students of varying ages and skill levels, creating engaging lesson plans, and promoting a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Taekwondo classes for children ages 3-7 adapting instruction to different skill levels.
- Develop comprehensive and engaging lesson plans.
- Provide individualized attention and guidance to students to help them achieve their martial arts goals.
- Instill discipline, respect, and the values of Taekwondo in all students.
- Organize and oversee belt promotion tests and other events as needed.
- Ensure a safe and supportive training environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Certified black belt in Taekwondo (minimum 2nd Dan or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Taekwondo instructor or coach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring others through martial arts.
