What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mill Production Technician position at The Wenger Group?
The Wenger Group is looking for a full-time Mill Technician I, who is an integral part of our feed manufacturing team.
$3,000 sign on bonus
What your day looks like:
You'll learn about and eventually perform all aspects of feed manufacturing including:
Grain testing
Hand added ingredients
Inventory management
Maintenance
Repair
Operation of production-related equipment
Housekeeping activities
Regulatory compliance
You'll help feed thousands of animals within a hundred-mile radius of your home mill and help our customers feed the world.
Who you are:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Production manufacturing or agriculture (livestock/grain feed) industry experience preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consecutive basis required.
Previous forklift experience required.
Must be available for any shift, over-time and weekends.
