The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. We are currently seeking applicants for Site Supervisors in Washington, DC

This site requires 24/7 Supervisor coverage and will be hiring for all shifts.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
- Minimum three years of successful supervision in a related field such as civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security guard service
- Three years of experience in physical security, law enforcement or military experience demonstrating the proficiencies listed below OR may substitute two years of relevant education, above the high school level, for each year of experience, OR may combine relevant education and relevant experience totaling three years
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrate competent utilization of MS Office to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and SharePoint
- Must be an individual of unquestionable integrity who displays a mature attitude and exercises good judgment
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain poise and self-control under stressful conditions and make quick decisions
- Possess a high school education or equivalency
- Ability to meet and deal with the general public
- Ability to read, understand, and apply printed rules detailed orders, instructions, and training materials with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain poise and self-control under stress
- Ability to construct and write clear and concise, accurate and detailed reports with minimal supervision
- Proficient in the use and safe handling of a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, or other weapon type proscribed by local authorities, prior to entry on duty
- Functional Responsibility:
- As shift supervisor, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the SPOs on post and reports directly to the Project Manager
- Conduct briefings during guard mount for each shift
- Must ensure the security guards do the following
- Perform duties specified in accordance with the Contract and the Post Orders
- Are properly uniformed and present a neat, clean, and professional appearance as required by the government client, contract, and employer’s policies and procedures
- Are thoroughly knowledgeable about their duties and demonstrate the ability to act effectively during emergencies or other unusual situations
- Possess and display a valid certification card and CPR card while on duty
- Possess all necessary permits, credentials, etc., as required by the contract or by local or state law
- Possess and retain the ability to use post security equipment, magnetometers, X-rays, screening wands, Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Lenel, as well as the ability to use handcuffs, baton, chemical spray, and (where required by post assignments) firearms at any time while on duty
- Meet fitness and performance standards outlined throughout this contract.

Pay: $29.00 per hour
