Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly greeting and assisting guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering suggestions based on their preferences.
- Proactively monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including the beverage station, counters, and equipment.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, according to manufacturer and safety guidelines.
- Accepting and processing customer payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and provide support as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques and recipes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
