Opportunity:
Manages and supports the daily operations, activities, and performance of the therapists at the clinic. Oversees patient flow and assures the clinic is adequately staffed and supported and functioning to serve the patients’ and business needs.
Requirements:
- Must be either a Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist (required)
- Masters degree from an accredited university program
- 5 years of pediatrics in outpatient or inpatient
- Must be a full-time W2 employee working a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Has broad knowledge of all OT/PT/ST disciplines and is a current support on the floor at all times for the team.
- Consistently meets/exceeds 80% productivity of direct patient care and manages documentation requirements with minimal to no difficulty. Demonstrates exemplary attendance at work.
Duties :
- Oversees performance of therapists and their schedule including, but not limited to, intervention, evaluation, scheduling, patient experience, medical record management and filing, analysis and performance of general duties.
- Provides coaching and mentoring for all therapists for treatment intervention and evaluation.
- Communicates with the Therapists, Office Manager, Clinic Director and other staff on a daily basis regarding needs of the office and conducts regular scheduled meetings with therapists.
- Ensure clinical knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform job are maintained.
- Coaches and counsels team members to deal with performance needs.
- Attends meetings and conferences and participates in other activities to promote professional growth in the clinic.
- Conducts performance evaluations as needed.
