Position Description

TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Social Worker for the 2022-2023 school year. This district offers full time, small case load and another psychologist who is able to support in the building. Integrated into the teams.

• Location: Mt Prospect, IL
• Duration: February 1, 2023 - May 26, 2023
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 36 hours/week, 8:30 AM - 3:40 PM
• Grade/Age Levels: 1st to 5th-grade
• Caseload Description: 17 IEP students with direct minutes; 8 students 504s with check ins

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a School Social Worker:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an School Social Worker within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Social Worker credential/license or in process in state of practice
