We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Technician who will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our Thermal Spray Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system calibration, certifying new systems, providing support for system maintenance and repair, handling equipment installations, and delivering exceptional field service to our valued clients.
Job Duties
System Calibration and Certification:
- Execute calibration procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Thermal Spray Systems.
- Certify newly installed systems to meet industry standards and client specifications.
Maintenance and Repair Support:
- Provide technical support for the maintenance and repair of Thermal Spray Equipment, both remotely and on-site.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
Equipment Installation:
- Oversee the installation of Thermal Spray Systems at client locations, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address any installation challenges effectively.
Field Service:
- Respond promptly to service calls, addressing client concerns and providing efficient solutions.
- Conduct on-site visits for routine maintenance, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
New Product Support:
- Work with Product Engineering to set up, test and qualify new products.
- Familiar with FANUC robot programming.
- Utilize technical expertise to enhance system performance and resolve complex technical issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with custom industrial equipment.
- Experience with PLC’s (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMI’s and robot programming and manipulation (Fanuc).
- Experience with power supplies a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site service and installations.
Education:
- Associate degree in a technical discipline (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
