What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Thermal-Chem?
As the Production Manager you will oversee production processes, ensure safety and quality standards, manage inventory and implement operating procedures. You will be a key member of the management team, responsible for production efficiency and planning.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Ensure production targets are met and quality standards are maintained
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary
- Schedule and assign tasks to production team members
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures
- Prepare orders for shipping and create shipping documents
Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is required
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a production environment
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating weights and dimensions
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety protocols
- Strong demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate employees
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments
- Organized, detail-oriented with excellent multi-taking abilities
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and internet)
- Logistics, UPS experience a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
