This position supports Process Development, SUL. Excellent custom service skills, data integrity, working with various systems are essential.

This position is located in West Greenwich, RI

What will you do?

Develop a team supporting multiple area within PD operations. Ensure operational coverage and support to perform daily activities. Provide reporting of metrics and data analytics. Participates in candidate selection process, trains, and evaluates staff's performance. Lead performance measurements to optimize the customer's perceptions. Attend and participate in meetings and conference call with internal and external customers. Adherence to safety protocols as outlined by the client and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Provide cross coverage for other ULS service areas.

Job-Specific Duties may include:

• Assistance with production runs on a multi-kilo scale
• Operation and process monitoring of reaction equipment
• Equipment and parts assembly, disassembly, and cleaning
• Execution of equipment commissioning and qualification
• Equipment maintenance and mechanical support for research equipment, including assisting with design and equipment modifications, development and execution of preventative maintenance schedules, review and upkeep of safe operating guidelines
• Maintain good house keeping
• Work in a team environment with scientific staff
• Partner with Research staff and Environmental Health and Safety to ensure safe operations at all times.
• Enforce to all customer cGMP SOP's
• Responsible for maintaining cGMP logs daily
• Maintain compliance with cGMP training
• Archiving GMP documents
• Provide glass washing and sterilization services maintaining a constant supply of clean and sterile lab glass

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree is required

Experience:

• 3 years of laboratory experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to work a flex schedule is required
• Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics' Four-I Values.
• Demonstrates a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to team with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
• Must deliver excellent customer service to include: maintaining a professional appearance.
• Operating skills to use handheld devices and learn to enter data in various systems as needed.
• Efficient intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software.
• Experience in laboratory settings and GLP/GMP environments, preferred.
