At this site you will work with a broad team focused on delivering important products to customers while always driving for new ways to accomplish our work heathier, cleaner, and safer for people and our environment.
What will you do?
As the Manufacturing Manager your are responsible for day to day management of the production areas focused on Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the Eugene site. This position provides leadership to the entire manufacturing team with a continuous focus on delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure safety is a top priority with active measures in place to drive a safe culture.
- Manage, select, develop, mentor, coach, and supervise the manufacturing operations staff
- Monitors, reviews, and improves manufacturing and quality related activities and drives corrective and preventative actions. Focuses team on using standardized work practices.
- Lead, support, and participate in PPI continuous improvement programs and initiatives such including, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events. Conducts financial analysis to forecast and assess project impact.
- Establish key performance indicators for projects in area of responsibility that drive change and visibility to the team and leadership. Track, trend, and monitor routinely with active data analysis rigor performed to drive the continuous improvement culture.
- Participate as a core team or extended team member for new product introduction.
- Contributes to new product introduction documentation, ensuring that operations concerns are addressed.
- Present to customers in audits, give tours, and review processes
- Document and develop standard work/SOPs and provide continuous feedback to team members to assure all are adhering to procedures and striving for continuous improvement and alignment with the objectives.
- Conducts site audits for compliance with company global standards
- Impart knowledge and skill to team member and implement best practice across the region.
How will you get here?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as engineering, science or technology.
Experience:- Requires 5-7 years relevant Operations management experience including staff supervision, budget accountability and project management.
- Background in life science preferred.
- Creative problem solving, customer service, planning and influence skills required.
- Experience within ISO 13485 environment is preferred.

- Strong leadership experience and decision-making ability.
- Proven people manager and developer
- High level of business acumen in business case development
- Possess a continuous process improvement mindset with the ability to effectively lead and manage change.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
