How will you make an impact?
This position wears many hats and is involved in various aspects of the lease/financial services industry with exposure across many departments within Thermo Fisher Scientific. More specifically this position is to work with the Operations Manager in handling the lease sales cycle by processing finance transactions, supporting Account Managers with deal flow, resolving any customer inquiries, generating lease documentation, issuing Purchase Orders to divisions and submitting funding packages to our banking partners.

What will you do?
Lease Operations:
• Prepare lease documentation: confirm transaction is approved by credit, verify legal name on Secretary of State, verify tax rate/treatment and ensure proper documentation is prepared based on credit approval, structure & size of transaction.
• Audit documents once they are executed by customer: work with credit/legal to approve any document changes made by the customer. Draft any addendums that are needed once approved and agreed upon by legal and the Lessee.
• Issue PO on behalf of the customer to appropriate division - to place order for instrumentation delivery.
• Prepare funding package and send to banking partner to commence lease and remit payment to the division.
• Coordinate with funding partner and division to apply funds to the proper invoices and ensure division is applying cash properly.
• Work with funding partners, divisions and customer to resolve any misdirected payments and follow through to ensure proper application takes place.
• Ensure transaction files are complete and stored properly in the CRM and file room.
Customer Service:
• Refer any calls received to account managers if unable to resolve issues directly with the customer.
• Relay estimated time of arrival for equipment being shipped to customers by working with division on timeframe and expectations.
• Resolve any equipment issues the customer is having with account manager & division.
• Work with customers on misdirected payments to ensure they are applied properly.
Collections:
• Communicate with any customers that fall behind on lease payments.
• Work with account managers to set up payment restructure if necessary.
• Escalate if customer is not compliant and work with leasing analyst to submit transaction to collection agency.

How will you get here?
Education
• BS – Finance, Business or related field – preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
• Finance experience with a focus on internal and external customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Must be extremely organized, have strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a team player and willing to help in different areas for the group.
