This position is remote. Candidates may be based anywhere within the Continental United States, preferably within Pittsburgh, PA or Hanover Park, IL.

How will you make an impact?
The Sales Support Specialist supporting the Commercial Sales team will report to the Manager, RFP Project Management. This position supports the Commercial Sales team in responding to RFQs, completing product cross references and managing other bid related activities. The Specialist will also support the Commercial team by completing various other administrative tasks.
What will you do?
- Support the business development efforts between the sales representative and external customers through processing of bids, RFQ’s, urgent quote and large order requests
- Manage and prioritize requests from Sales and customers
- Work closely with Sales and key customers to provide the best solution to meet their needs
- Provide support and assistance to fellow team members and departments, in order to meet company/team goals
- Perform other tasks as identified
How will you get here?
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred with equivalent work experience
Experience
1 - 3 years experience in customer service or sales support role
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments
- Ability to work accurately, with interruptions, to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining quick response to deadlines
- Able to use software applications like MS Outlook, Excel, Word
- College coursework completed, Degree or certification preferred or equivalent work experience
