About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate copy writer/email marketer to join our busy collaborative marketing team. You will be delivering copy for daily email campaigns, product descriptions on our website, advertisements, catalogs, and landing pages.
In your role as an email marketer, you will build a variety of marketing emails targeted at different segments of our business. You will learn our unique industries and understand how to build compelling messages to drive business direct to our website.
Essential Responsibilities:
As a copywriter you will:

Write clear, concise copy for product pages, websites, emails, advertisements, catalogs, social media, press releases, etc

Draft subject lines and calls to action for daily emails

Ensure message delivered matches the format
-
Research the SEO-value of keyword sets for strategic implementation
-
Manage timelines for marketing catalogs and campaigns
-
Collaborate with team members on marketing videos, campaigns, launches, etc
-
Proofread and edit blog copy, press releases, etc
-
Interview thought leaders inside and outside the company to write education pieces
-
Perform other duties as assigned
As an email marketer you will:

Design regular promotional and automated email campaigns
-
Organize and coordinate digital resources and assets required for email marketing campaigns
-
Design eye-catching email layouts that lead to higher levels of engagement
-
Create and edit image assets for emails
-
Continually optimize design, imagery, and CTA’s to add value to every email sent to our 1 million subscriber list
-
Research up-to-date and emerging technologies and developments in the design field and implement them when appropriate
-
Successfully manage a personal task list in order to complete projects on time
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
2 years of copywriting experience
-
Experience converting technical/product specifications into sales copy, a plus
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Writing, PR, Communications, English or related program

Superb writing, research, editing, and proofreading skills under deadline

Strong background in SEO research, implementation and tracking

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail
-
Interest or background in food or cooking a plus
-
1 years of experience handling creative requests, creating and editing photo files, and designing email templates in WYSIWYG editor

Experience creating persuasive emails selling tangible products
-
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Familiarity with basic CSS, PHP, and/or HTML strongly preferred
-
Willingness to work hard, and take ownership and accountability for your role
