What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generator Maintenance Tech position at Thibodeaux Electric Services?
Looking for a talented and motivated Generator Technicians to perform maintenance and service on Standby Generator systems. The ideal candidate needs to have electrical / mechanical background and a desire to learn to grow.
* General Duties *
- Perform preventive maintenance on Standby Generators
- Attend company paid factory certification / training
- Complete basic electrical / mechanical tasks as needed
- Fill out and submit daily paperwork ( Tablet )
- Sell and renew preventive maintenance contracts to new and existing customers
* Qualifications *
- Familiar with residential / commercial generators ( preferred)
- Mechanical ability with engine knowledge
- Basic electrical knowledge of AC/DC circuits
- Strong communication skills
- Personable / customer-focused
Must have a good driving record and be able to pass a drug test
