Think Medium is looking for a full-time Producer of healthcare & leadership Programs to join our team.
Position Overview:
- The ideal candidate will bring a passion for digital storytelling, project management, production technical expertise, and superb communication skills.
- This position is currently remote with travel to the interview studio(Northern, VA) for set-up and production.
- The Producer of Programs will lead project management, lead the production process for Think Medium’s programs in consultation with the CEO and management team, and supports sponsorship relations.
- The interview-based programs are currently The Gary Bisbee Show, Her Story, and Day Zero with additional shows planned for Q3 and Q4 of 2022.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the Think Medium editorial strategy development process.
- Project manage and coordinate all aspects of programs’ production, in consultation with Think Medium's Videographer and Editor, with program-specific hosts and TM support team (admin/finance, marketing/coms, and content writer)
- Oversee sponsors relations.
- Work with each program team (host/TM support staff/post-production/MarCom/Content) on week-to-week content development and guest selection, reviewing and green-lighting pitches and episode approaches.
- Ensure each step of the editorial production workflow is pacing as required.
- Contributes new ideas to help push each show forward in the short and long term.
- Assist each host and the TM support team with strategizing and creating associated content (e.g., multimedia, social, special episodes, live recordings)
- Ensure high-quality editing and technical Production for each show.
- Work closely with the CEO and program teams on the overall growth of each program.
Qualifications:
- An entrepreneurial, can-do attitude, with a bias towards action and growth
- Superior attention to detail and organization, especially when judging multiple projects with strict deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least two years of experience as a leader of one or multiple podcasts coordinating with editors, production support team, and hosts.
- Experience with the interview and talk-show-based podcasts.
- Strong creative vision and editorial judgment.
- Ability to guide audio/video editorial strategy in the Think Medium style (storytelling, conversational, engaging, and informative).
Salary : $6,000,000 - $7,500,000
