Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team. As a Registered Nurse in the Rehabilitation department, you will be instrumental in providing specialized care to patients undergoing rehabilitation treatments. Your expertise in nursing care, coupled with your commitment to patient well-being, will play a crucial role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation process for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients undergoing rehabilitation treatments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation care strategies and techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients undergoing rehabilitation therapies
Skills:
- Proficiency in hospice palliative medicine and rehabilitation nursing practices
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings or acute care environments
- Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and eye care management
- Ability to provide specialized infant care and support for pediatric patients
- Familiarity with gastric lavage procedures and related nursing interventions
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation of medical records
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic
- Understanding of dermal fillers and their application in rehabilitation therapies
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret assessment findings
