To help do that, we’re looking for a strategic and emotionally intelligent Senior HRBP to support our business leaders to drive engaged and high-performing teams to deliver upon Thirty Madison’s business strategy.  

The ideal candidate is a strategic thought partner to business leaders and is a self-starter that has a track record of delivering people strategies and programs that drive engagement, retention, and business results. This person is an experienced coach who knows how to leverage data to build and measure success of key initiatives. This person is also highly adaptable, a skilled problem solver and communicator, a trusted advisor and a culture champion. This role reports into the Senior Director HRBP. 

Some things you’ll work on: 

  • Serve as HR Business partner for various functional leaders up through VP-level and their teams, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted thought partner 
  • Provide guidance to business leaders on professional development, career pathing, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, workforce planning, retention strategies
  • Help develop and implement people strategies and programs that promote engaged and high-performing teams aligned with Thirty Madison’s business strategy 
  • Coach business leaders and their direct reports to support their development as effective leaders for the organization
  • Serve as a champion of change efforts, providing support and frameworks for leading change to drive adoption
  • Work with leaders and our Talent Acquisition team to support recruiting efforts, ensuring that we hiring high performing, diverse talent while minimizing turnover
  • Oversee the performance management process and provide guidance to leaders on their employee reviews and evaluations
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform and measure success of people initiatives and influence change
  • Foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workforce at all levels of the organization
  • Support people processes throughout the year ensuring teams are aware of what’s going on and understand the why behind key initiatives 
  • Maintain a pulse on the organization to help drive proactive programming to improve employee engagement
  • Act as a culture builder in all of your interactions, leading by example, embodying our values and promoting a culture of feedback and communication
  • Advocate for teams or individuals and represent their needs to leadership

You’re the right fit if you have: 

  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience with a proven track record as a Human Resources Business Partner 
  • Deep knowledge of HR practices and employment laws and experience in org design, succession planning, employee relations, employee engagement, retention strategies, and coaching
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change with senior leaders in a scaling organization, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills to support teams and build trust 
  • Sophisticated coaching and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights and thoughtful solutions to business challenges 
  • Ability to balance longer-term strategic initiatives with more immediate priorities
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in hyper-growth startup a plus 
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's and/or HR Certifications preferred
