Our partner in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Electrical Tech to ensure the safety and satisfaction of guests at their location by performing preventive maintenance, service of electrical equipment, and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Replace light bulbs and ballast.
- Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on all electrical equipment.
- Setup and monitor electrical needs for promotional events and marketing projects.
- Assist in annual switch gear maintenance duties.
- Provide electrical assistance to various departments.
- Ensure safety in the work area and surrounding areas.
- Utilize Building Management System for engineering department calls.
- Provide exceptional internal and external guest service.
- Perform other building maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- AAS or BS degree in Electrical Construction/Engineering or related work experience.
- 1-3 years previous electrical job-related experience.
- Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electrical maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Basic reading, arithmetic, and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Job Requirements:
- Work at heights up to 80 feet when using equipment.
- Work in ceiling areas.
- Lift/carry up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Lift/carry up to 100 lbs infrequently.
- Climb 8 flights of stairs frequently.
