Founded in 2009, the company has become one of the largest media outlets in hip-hop, distributing and promoting the hottest new acts, creating cyphers and other viral content, and providing hip-hop news to an audience of over 2 million followers. Rap is a sport, and we're looking for artists that can compete with the best.
Job Summary
Thizzler On The Roof is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves significant client interaction and requires the ability to travel to meet clients as needed. The position will focus on securing enterprise accounts, collaborating with marketing departments of other record labels, and working out sponsorship deals for our programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Attract and secure new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process.
- Enterprise Accounts: Secure new business through enterprise accounts, including collaborations with marketing departments of other record labels to promote their artists' releases.
- Sponsorship Deals: Develop and negotiate sponsorship deals for Thizzler On The Roof’s programming.
- Market Research: Identify and research opportunities in new and existing markets.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver pitches, presentations, and customized proposals to potential clients.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Own the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation, including managing outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.).
- CRM Maintenance: Maintain client activities in CRM and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations with clients, including pricing, terms, and contractual agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment within the business, working closely with senior team members to identify and manage company risks and opportunities.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service through regular follow-up and communication with clients.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Experience in the music industry or working with record labels is a plus. Experience in a commission-based environment is preferred.
