Job Specific Duties
- Overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.
- Ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and taste.
- Supervising kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Training and mentoring kitchen staff.
- Ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations.
- Implementing and enforcing sanitation standards.
- Conducting regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Occasionally interacting with customers to gather feedback.
- Addressing special requests and dietary requirements.
What you will need
- 18 years or older, pending specific state requirements.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
- Background check that includes SSN Trace, Sex Offender Search, Global Watchlist Search, National Search, and Motor Vehicle Record
- ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card, state specific
- Ability to read, speak, write and comprehend English
- The ability to work holiday and weekend shift schedules.
