We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant with Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, creating financial reports, and maintaining accurate records.
## Duties
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist in preparing financial reports
- Support the Bookkeeper in day-to-day financial tasks
- Utilize computerized accounting systems for data entry and record keeping
## Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with proofreading and office management tasks
- Background as a personal assistant or in administrative roles
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
