Maintenance Technician - Los Angeles

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician at Norwood Learning Village a 29-unit residential property located in Los Angeles, CA and Dudley Oaks a 20-unit residential property located adjacent to Norwood Learning Village.

Salaries range from $17.00/hour to $26.00/hour and are based on skills, experience and seniority.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and turn units for move-ins (make ready)
• Complete common apartment work orders
• General preventative maintenance and unit inspections
• Exterior property maintenance, sidewalk grinding and landscaping vendor supervision
• Minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Replacement and repair of household appliances and items (i.e. refrigerator, stoves, sinks, drains, toilets)
• Opportunity to do basic welding, minor HVAC repair and special projects
• Light cleaning and pickup of grounds in accordance with safety and sanitizing protocols

• High School diploma/GED.
• Two (2) years’ experience in facilities maintenance, hotel or apartment community experience (preferred but not required).
• General maintenance, plumbing and electrical skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills.
• Warm, outgoing personality.
