Job Title- Ultrasound Tech (2 open roles)
Location – Georgetown, KY, 40324 (no relocation)
Base Salary – $50,000 – $72,000
Must-Haves
1 – Must be open to fulfilling on-call requirements.
2 – Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasonography.
3 – Associate’s degree.
4 – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Sonography.
5 – RRT (R) with a KY License.
8:30a-5p- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Will take call: 1 day a week, 1 weekend a month
Schedule Option #2
7a-7p- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
will take call: 1 day a week, 1 weekend a month
Description
Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
Assists radiologist with interventional procedures as ordered. (eg; paracenthesis, needle aspirations/biopsy, etc)
