NETWORK MANAGERSalary: Salary based on qualificationsReports To: Technology DirectorSummary: Maintains the district and Town Hall network through the troubleshooting, testing, and configuration of hardware, software, cabling, and data communications equipment. Evaluates network performance and finds ways of improvement. Troubleshoots all systems and devices on the network.Responsibilities: Maintains an accurate inventory, including warranty information, of the technology equipment at the school in order to provide up-to-date reports for school or district staffServes as a contact for vendors of technology related products and servicesAssists the technicians and interns with the unpacking and set-up of equipment and the installation of software on school computers.Assists technicians and interns with the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of computer systems.Livestreams Board of Education meetings either in person or via zoomAssists the Technology Director in maintaining safe and acceptable access for students on student devicesCoordinates student device deployment with the Technology DirectorDefines and maintains a security system to prevent unauthorized access to network dataRecommends budget requirements for districtwide network needs, technology equipment, and materialsAssist in setting up new staff user accounts on networkAssists in making changes to firewall, e-mail filtering, wireless network settings as neededProvides accurate log of work completed at Town Hall.Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer related field, or equivalent training and experience or experience working in a computer related field.Above average organizational skills.Ability to articulate effectively in both oral and written form.Ability to problem solve computer, peripheral and network problems.Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.Take personal responsibility to actively listen to others, understand their needs, take initiative to help. Takes ownership of job duties.
