Roles and Responsibilities:

• Direct Patient Care:
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide wound care and assist with other medical procedures as needed.
• Respond promptly to residents’ calls for assistance and ensure their needs are met.
• Resident Assessment and Monitoring:
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' health status.
• Recognize and report any changes in residents' conditions to the RN or physician.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and problem-solving.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all residents.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Document all care provided and any changes in residents' conditions promptly and accurately.
• Safety and Infection Control:
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Implement infection control measures, including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Professional Development:
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing and long-term care.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
