Event Coordinator - Overview:
A unique opportunity has arisen to join the Threadmark team in New York. The firm is currently working on a broad range of high-quality situations and is seeking an Event Coordinator to support team members with marketing and fundraising activities. The role will focus on coordinating with the project management team as well as CRM work.
Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operational management of diverse events from conception to completion
- Managing team diaries and priorities to ensure timelines are adhered to
- Managing event executives, ensuring tasks are complete on time and to a high quality, providing support and assistance when required
- Managing all email and telephone communications with sponsors, partners, speakers, and delegates. Providing accurate information, resolving issues, or redirecting to the appropriate team
- Document preparation, proofreading, amending contents prior to print or circulation
- Develop a calendar of global conferences and events
- Managing team diaries, scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders (both virtual and international), arranging travel and accommodation when required. Preparing documents, minute taking, transcribing notes, and circulating to the wider team
- Maintain Salesforce (our CRM system) with timely updates, remove duplicates
- Input information from meetings and calls into Salesforce
Event Coordinator - Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree
- 0-2 years of experience within a support type role (travel planning exp. a plus)
- Strong attention-to-detail and ability to multi-task
- Must have strong communication and customer service skills
