Qualifications:
Head Custodian I for the District Office.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of Custodial cleaning.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory and organization.
Skill in the use of electrical and hand appliances ordinarily used in custodial activities.
Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to structures and equipment.
Ability to keep records and make reports required by administration.
Physical strength to withstand the strain of performing eight hours of manual tasks.
High moral standards and character necessary for association with children.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, students and general public.
Good communication skills and habits, willingness to maintain open lines of communication.
Knowledge of maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds keeping,
plumbing and electrical systems, and other building fixtures and equipment.
Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions.
Basic computer skills required.
Preferably six months of experience in work relating to the care of school buildings, grounds keeping, and warehouse.
