Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking out Pharmacy Technicians in Fargo, ND to assist the Pharmacy team in the completion of specialty pharmacy orders to ensure high levels of customer service. Also follow company strategies to increase service levels to patients and support to local pharmacies and medical providers.
This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign on Bonus!
Applicant should possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain patient confidentiality, and be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

A few of the primary responsibilities include:
- Providing professional service to patients, medical providers, and local Thrifty White pharmacies.
- Creating and maintaining accurate patient profiles in the computer system such as medication profiles, insurance information, contact information, allergy information, and any other pertinent information.
- Assisting pharmacists in processing medication orders and receiving payment from insurance carriers.
- Assisting the pharmacist with filling and labeling prescriptions.
- Assisting in checking in cycle filled medication exchanges from facilities and maintaining accuracy between batch and medication systems.
- Communicating with providers and insurance carriers to accurately process and fill medication orders.
- Working with central fill site using the Long Term Care Tracker system.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels using Thrifty White's inventory management system.
- Ability to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.
