What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Solutions Associate position at Thrive Credit Union?
Position Purpose:
The Member Solutions Associate acts as a liaison between the credit union and its members to assist them and provide them with financial advice. This individual will work with our members who are experiencing financial challenges to create solutions that will allow them to improve their financial picture.
Collections Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work early stage collections with notices, phone calls or other communications.
* Negotiate payment arrangements or payment plans with members.
* Follow up with members upon broken promises to pay
* Process delinquent loans payments by phone
* Assist Member Solutions Manager with repossession letters and titles
* Assist with management of E-Oscar System
* Work collections for ODC Program and monitor negative list
* Counsels members regarding money management and financial matters including conducting credit report reviews through Thrive’s Savvy Money app
Miscellaneous
Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by Member Solutions Manager.
Qualification Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Eighteen (18) months of customer service experience
Preferred Requirements
* Previous experience in debt collection
