Thrive Health Solutions currently has an opening for a part time Nurse Practitioner to staff 1-2 days per week (Tues/Wed, Wed/Thurs or Tues, Wed or Thurs, 8 hrs per day with no on-call, nights or weekends! to join our rapidly growing, positive and up beat clinic located in So. DTC, CO!

Duties of the position:
Primary duties include part-time patient consultation/exam, reviewing and maintaining patient charts, labs, prescribing and administering appropriate medications and performing BHRT pellet insertion procedures per established protocols.
Optional: If certified/experienced, administering aesthetic treatments (Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, etc) per established protocols.
The nurse practitioner (NP) uses clinical judgments in conducting health assessments, making differential diagnoses, and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments with established protocols. Plans are implemented through independent action, health counseling, and collaboration with other members of the health team. The NP is responsible for clinical oversight and health center consultation regarding administration of health care policy and procedure of the delivery of on-site health services. The NP promotes optimum health, prevents illness and injury, and manages acute and chronic health problems in the on-site setting.
Essential job functions:
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and established protocols.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests/labs to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Review and maintains patient charts, medical records, SOAP notes and medications.
- Collaborates with staff and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribes or recommends medications and performs established treatment protocols such as BHRT hormone injections and/or pellet procedures, medical weight loss, or related treatments and procedures.
- Performs BHRT Pellet insertion procedures
- Performs PRP (MSK & Aesthetic) procedures
- Educates and collaborates with staff on best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education/licensure:
- Current and active License as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Colorado, in good standing with the governing boards with prescribing rights
- Current and active DEA license
Knowledge and experience requirements:
- At least two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a desire to learn and participate in expanding alternative therapies and treatments
- At least two years of BHRT Pellet experience is required.
- At least two years of PRP experience required (both MSK & Aesthetic PRP experience preferred).
- Knowledge and experience with Medical weight loss is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with anti-aging/peptide therapies is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and work flow management skills preferred
(Ongoing training for an NP meeting the required credentials and interested in joining our organization and our well established protocols is provided)
