What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant position at Thrive Realty Company?
$35,000 - $45,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items
- Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
- Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
- Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred
- 2-3 years of professional office environment and administration or mortgage experience preferred
- Possess an understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred
