What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program coordinator position at Thrive?
Job Summary : As Vent Program Coordinator at Breath of Life you will be a key member of our team. Your role will include assisting in business development and marketing, by ensuring all vent referrals are handled efficiently and are clinically supported.
You will work as a liaison between multiple areas / people including external partners (physicians, clinicians, agencies, etc) but also our internal team including customer service, respiratory therapy, inventory, and delivery as well as billing.
You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and ensuring that our cutting-edge medical ventilators reach those in need.
Your sales acumen, product knowledge, and customer relationship skills will be essential to your success in this role.
Job Duties :
- Vent Intake :
- Ensure all vent referrals are handled in an efficient and timely manner
- Verify that all clinical criteria meet payer guidelines, and that all proper documentation is in place including RX, Prior Auths, Referrals, etc.
- Work with other departments to verify equipment availability, arrange delivery and training etc.
- Product and Market Knowledge :
- Gain a deep understanding of our medical ventilator products and services, their features, benefits, and applications.
- Effectively communicate the technical specifications and advantages of our products and services to prospective customers / referrals.
- Customer Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers / referral sources
- Assist in education of referrals as needed.
- Drive adoption of Parachute when working with referrals
- Sales Collateral and Tools :
- Assist in development of marketing materials and sales tools to support our sales efforts, including brochures, product guides, and presentations.
- Market Research :
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the healthcare industry to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Share market insights and feedback with the sales and product development team.
- Quotation and Proposal Generation :
- Prepare and present price quotations, proposals, and contracts to potential customers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals while ensuring profitability.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or a related field.
- Excellent understanding of medical equipment specifications and industry standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
